Get in touch

The best way to start is by email. There is no contact form and no automated response: your message goes directly to Sally, and she will reply herself, usually within two working days.

For coaching and consultancy enquiries

Email [email protected] with a brief note about what you are working on — a sentence or two is enough. Sally will respond with a calendar link for a 30-minute introductory call.

The call itself is confidential and free of charge. It is not a sales call. The purpose is for both parties to understand whether the work is the right fit and whether there is a useful conversation to be had. If you come away from the call thinking it is not what you need, that is a completely fine outcome.

If you have already read the what to expect page and looked at the coaching and programmes page, the introductory call usually takes less time because the format questions have already been answered. That said, feel free to get in touch before you have read any of it — Sally is used to starting from scratch.

What to expect from the first conversation

The introductory call runs for 30 minutes, sometimes a little over. Sally will ask what you are working on, what has already been tried, and what would need to be different in order for the situation to feel resolved. You are welcome to ask anything you want about the practice, the format, fees, or how Sally works. Neither party is committing to anything by having the conversation.

After the call, if both sides want to proceed, Sally will send a brief written summary of what the work would look like and what the investment would be. You then take whatever time you need to decide.

For funded social-enterprise programmes

If you lead a UK social enterprise or charity and are enquiring about the fully-funded business support programmes, email [email protected] with the name of your organisation, its legal structure (CIC, CIO, registered charity, etc.), and a sentence about what you would like support with. Sally will talk through eligibility and connect you with the relevant national programme partner if there is a fit.

The coaching page has more detail on the funded programmes if you want to read the criteria first.

For the magazine

Subscription enquiries, advertising in Steer Your Business Magazine, or editorial questions: email [email protected] with "magazine" in the subject line and Sally will point you at the right resource.

A note on confidentiality

Everything discussed during an introductory call and throughout any coaching engagement is confidential. Sally does not share information about enquiries, clients, or the content of sessions with third parties. If you are a senior leader and the fact that you are seeking coaching is itself sensitive, that sensitivity will be respected from the first message onwards.

You can read more about how the practice works on the about page or look at what clients have said about their experience.
